 Fiction Goals

I just completed adjusting Act I and Act II of Color Me in Serenity. Act III will receive a major overhaul. The changes have not been registered to the internet yet, but I am getting there. I researched some self-publishing options today and a promising option is Outskirts Publishing. The optimum and mist average price for both publishing and advertising is $300 each. That is an optimum of $600 if I am going to market my book. Which means I am having to steamroll hard on the job market. tongue emoticon Which I wouldn't worry. I'm sure I can get a job pretty soon.
Once I get that taken care of, I can focus more on my next to stories: The City and the Doorway, The Outlaw of the New Kingdoms.

B. Absenity Antagonists
1. Bardrick, the Taskmaster-In his mid-40s. Mid-length, wavy, black hair. Brown eyes. Dark gray, ‘5: 00 shadow’. Red, orange and brown top hat. Orange blush circles. Orange, button up shirt. Black, leather belt. Orange and brown, striped pants. Black leather shoes. Brown, leather trench coat.
2. Dilys, the Clock Girl- Early to mid-20s. Red, stringy hair, with two moderate-length, pig tails. Blue eyes. Brass goggles, sometimes worn as a headpiece and sometimes over her eyes. Orange, blush circles, red lipstick. Orange and brown, stripped sweatshirt. Dark brown overalls, with big, loose pant legs. Black, tennis shoes.
3. Stevie the Squirrel- Animatronic, humanoid squirrel. Black fur, but the tail is brown (like a Washington DC squirrel). Big, robotic eyes, creepy, whimsical smile. Wears a mail ranger’s hat and uniform.
4. Fluffy (the Abomination)-A large and bizarre, animatronic. It is modeled after a whimsical animal, humanoid…thing, as to say that it wasn’t really modeled after anything but constructed with random spare, animatronic parts.
It has a purple, elephant face with an agape smile in between lime green, protruding cheeks.
Its body is like a squatting, plant stem and has several metal plates attached to it, like protective leaves, painted different colors that would all match Serenity’s whimsical theme and seem to actually be motor vehicle, body parts.
The arms hang out in front of the body, with metal plates of their own. One hand is a pink, lizard’s foot with yellow claws. The other hand is a crab claw with an orange and white swirl pattern.
Four spider like legs spread out in a circumference around the bottom of the body’s stem. It has an orange, horse hoof, blue mantis claw, a red duck foot and a purple ferret’s foot with orange claws.
III. CMiS mascot
A. Sansone, the Sun- A false, mechanical sun emitting florescent light, mimicking sunlight. Glowing yellow, beady pupils. Plate-sectioned eyeballs with plate lines that circumferences the pupils. Copper face, bronze jaw. Red, blush cirlces. Screws that serve as jaw hinges are rusted. Orange, ornamental flares that circumferences the circular structure of the face/body. This may be his appearance when displayed on book cover.
However, when appearing as a mascot for a Tranquility Town supermarket, the mascot will have no metallic or mechanical characteristics. Instead having a yellow face/body and his eyes will not be plated but will be white, but his yellow pupils will still be beady. He will appear this way, because a mechanical sun mascot would be too obvious to the citizens of Serenity.

This.Is.Sick. But to be honest:

Let's face it. Credit Score is no different than this. A Good Citizen Score is just set at a higher scale. People are demonized and penalized all of the time for bad credit scores, and most of the time, it is out of their hands. America is no different than China, and I would be proud to be called a "bad citizen", because if you can endure and resist the indoctrination, than it means that the ones with the power haven't taken away your spirit.

Gamification is an honest expression of how human society works as a whole. It starts early in life, with the cliques and peer pressure of high school, a reflection of an adult social life. Put on a figurative mask, play dress up, impress the right people and you just may succeed in life. If you are unable to do so or you choose not to, you better prepare yourself to live your life as an outcast. Everyone is just in it for themselves, whether its to be on top, for a sense of purpose or entitlement or simply just to survive, we are all just looking out for ourselves and society is the name of the game. Believe it or don't. It is what it is and no one said it was pretty. I wonder what will happen when the rules change or even seize to exist. Who will be able to adapt?

Take it from me. This reality has been thoroughly shoved in my face. I'm just a quiet person. Being a quiet person, I tend to stick to myself, not by my own accord, but because no one wants to talk to me. When I am in public, I get these looks, these expressions of snaring conceit or fearful nervousness. These looks are completely unwarranted. I am human being like anyone else, I have interests, values and emotions, but these things are put to the test by society and they fail miserably. The truth is I can be a kind-hearted person if people would allow me to be, but that's not how the game works. I chose to be myself, to preserve my identity and therefore I have willfully forfeited in participating in the game. I know I am an outcast, and I wear that title proudly.

And sure I get angry sometimes, after day upon day of holding it in, of "controlling it," and that control has been tested and it has failed. In the end, I am punished for my human emotion, for being upset for being used, shamed and ostracized. The truth is, we are all human with the same emotions and we all make judgements upon each other, based on our interests and values an especially on common, social sentiment. Good. I'd like to believe that their is good, I really do, but my hope in that is failing. It seems that that good that we do and the good deeds that we do, is simply for a since of entitlement or purpose. It seems that we are all just animals, wanting a slice of the pie. You win or you lose. I know that now, not that it will help me much.

Wow...Where did I go wrong? I didn't realize collecting art on this site would become a thing for me. I only registered so I can find some talent who can illustrate my story, Color Me in Serenity. Even before that, I was all like "I don't want to get involved with them. They're just a bunch of deviants!" lol. Ridiculous, I know. It turns out that I found a new obsession...Than I realized that its more like an escape. So thank you all for your wonderful, beautiful works of art!

I have a story posted on various other sites: Color Me in Serenity. I decided to sign up here to find someone who is willing to create concept art for my story. The only problem is that I am new to Deviant Art and I am confused about it's layout. Can someone help me understand how I appropriately submit Literature pieces on Deviant Art and how to organize my work on this site? I am getting quite the headache.
